Links and object history

Hi,

I am working on a DXL script that analyzes object history in a project. As the information of in links and external links is not written in the object history, I am not able to get this information. Is there a way to get/configure this information in DOORS history?

For in-links I have a complicated solution - get the history of the linked object. But this solution makes the DXL script slower.

Yes, links are owned by the source object and that's where you'll find the History. Yes, that means the target object will have no History of previous in-links. Following the in-link to the source object and examining its History will only tell you when the current in-link was created, it won't give you any History of previous links. To do that you'll need to examine all possible in-link partner modules, examine history of all out-links, and sort it out finding History to the particular target objects you care about, Yuuuuck.

do you have how to get/configure history for exernal links?
